The Rising Stars awards recognise emerging leaders across
the Australian K–12 sector who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and impact
in teaching and learning. Tayla‑Jay’s selection reflects her strong
professional practice and meaningful contribution to student success in an
online senior secondary environment.
In her role at FisherONE, Tayla‑Jay works closely with
students and teachers to ensure learning is engaging, supportive, and
appropriately challenging, so every student feels known, capable, and
confident. Her leadership is characterised by creativity, collaboration, and a
strong relational approach – essential qualities in online education.
Tayla‑Jay brings a depth of expertise to FisherONE,
including being a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) and
holding a Master of Educational Leadership (Catholic Educational Leadership).
In 2025, she also presented at the Future of Education Summit, alongside
Lisa Newland, on Preparing Learners for a Borderless Workforce: What
FisherONE Teaches Students.
This national recognition reflects both Tayla‑Jay’s
leadership and FisherONE’s commitment to providing students with access to high‑calibre
educators who are shaping future‑focused learning experiences.
FisherONE congratulates Tayla‑Jay on this outstanding
achievement and thanks her for the positive impact she continues to make for
